Victory to Lord Ganesha, the big-bellied one, the Lord of the Ganas (Shiva’s army) and the son of Mother Gowri (Parvathi). Victory to the elephant-faced Lord who adorns the crescent moon on His forehead and who has big ears like that of an elephant.
