Show us Your compassion, O Lord Shankara, the blue-throated one who adorns the snake and who is the consort of Goddess Parvathi. You are beautiful with Vibhuthi (holy ash) besmeared all over Your body and the moon adorned on Your head. Be merciful towards us O Lord, who has the third eye, possesses the trident and holds the river Ganga in Your matted hair.
